Places to While Dating in Georgia

Georgia is a state in the Southeastern United States. Its boarded by South Carolina on its eastern side. It has a humid subtropical climate with hot and humid summers. Georgia has a lot to offer its visitors. You can not leave this state without finding a place you would want to go back to again to experience its magic. If you are dating in Georgia there are many beautiful places and if you are feeling more in love with your date you can propose to them in one of Georgia beautiful places.

Georgia has many museums. There is the Georgia Museum of Art which is a major fine art museum. The High Museum of Art is enameled in porcelain. This museum is opened seven days a week making it easy to plan to visit it. You can choose a day that is comfortable with you and you and you date are free to go visit this museum. There is also the Morris Museum of Art. The art museum in Georgia all have great work and which ever you choose to visit you will be sure to see wonderful things displayed. While dating in Georgia be sure to pop in any of the museum to have fun walking around and admiring various works of people. Its also in Georgia that you will find the World of Coca-Cola museum. This museum gives the history of the Coca cola soft drink. The museum gives people who visit this place a chance to taste coca cola from various countries.

The Atlanta Zoo is the next place you should visit if you are dating in Georgia. This zoo is opened every day of the week and it has many wild animals and species to see. Sadly the zoo is closed during the night and so you should visit it only during the day. Atlanta zoo is located in Grant Park. The Grant Park itself has other attractive things that you can see. You can go to the Confederate Fort Walker and Cyclorama painting. Cyclorama painting has cylindrical painting inside. Infact it has one of the largest oil paintings in the world. People sit down to see the paintings which rotates. The painting tries to depict the fighting that was between the confederate and the union arm.

While dating in Georgia you can also go to see the Stone Mountain. It is one of the major attractions in Georgia. Climbing the mountain is roughly forty five minutes. For those who do not want to climb the mountain but would still want to see the carvings made on their cliff face, there is a cable car that takes people up. The Georgia Aquarium is also one place you should not leave out in your list of places to go in Georgia. It is the largest aquarium in the world. It has more than five hundred species from all over the world. You can go here with your date and have fun looking at the animals. The Atlanta Botanical Garden should also be a place that you and your date can go to see the beautiful gardens.

Formula D Series Events and Places

Formula D Racing, a.k.a. Formula Drifting, is a sport that’s rapidly growing in popularity. Not so long ago – only a few years – it was introduced to North America with the creation of pro drifting racing. This racing organization is also known as the Formula Drift Championship. This race includes about 50 drivers competing for the right to be called the U.S. drifting champion. Just like any other pro racing events, they take place in a few different cities at various pro race tracks.

 

Like all other professional racing events, you’ll find that it’s not an easy task to pinpoint all of the racing venues, which is also true for Formula D series. The main reason for that is that they keep changing all the time. In the future, you expect to see extra venues being added as drifting keeps on growing in popularity and becoming more of a mainstream sport.  But if you do want to learn more about the venues that have been used in Formula D, pick a season and focus on those particular locales. We will be looking at the 2006 Championship season.

 

One of the venues is located in Sonoma, California. The name of that track is Infineon Raceway. Because of where it is located, it’s growing in popularity. The location is San Francisco – only 28 miles away from the Golden Gate Bridge. Besides the Formula D, it also hosts the Indycar Series, Nascar Sprint Cup Series, National Hot Rod, American motorcycle association and NHRA Division 7. It is a year – round complex open 340 days and 50 weekends a year with 1.5 million visitors each year passing through its gates.

 

Formula D series also takes place at Road Atlanta.  As the name suggests, it’s located in Atlanta, Georgia. It is known globally as one of the premium race tracks of North America. Road Atlanta management are not resting on their laurels and continue to improve the track. With renovations done in 2004, they have added one more horseshoe turn just for the Formula D events. This turn improves on an already great track by adding one more extra degree of difficulty. Beside Formula D, this racetrack is also a host to various racing events like the Audi Driving Experience, AMA Suzuki Superbike Showdown, SCCA American Road Race of Champions and Ferrari Challenge.

 

Formula D series also makes a stop in Chicago, Illinois at Soldier Field – the football stadium. You might ask how is it possible to do a drifting event there. Actually, the event is staged just outside the walls of this Stadium – in the parking lot. Right before the event takes place, the lot is transformed into a great drifting race course. Even though it is technically not a track, the fan energy and enthusiasm is just the same or greater. The main reason for this event’s popularity is because, apart from New Jersey, Formula D series does not have another location in the north-east area of the country.

 

Besides the venues that were mentioned above, the formula D series also stops in Wall New Jersey, Washington, Seattle, Long Beach and Irwindale California.  In Irwindale, the event takes place at the Irwindale Speedway. In Wall, the action takes place at the Air Force Reserve Wall Speedway. In Long Beach, the event is hosted in the streets of Long Beach. Some of these events are held at well known tracks and others in city streets or parking lots.

 

Like we said before, the above mentioned venues were on the 2006 Formula D calendar. In a few years, extra tracks may be added or some of the old ones excluded. If you are serious about venturing out to a live event, we advise you to make sure your race schedule is updated with the most recent information available through Formula D website.
